HOLD ON

Big companies run shit

But they don't care about us

And they put us on hold

And staff customer service people from India to take our calls

At $1 an hour

I'm on hold right now

For the third time.

About the same problem.

And it takes my time, valuable time, becuase business love to systemize their processes

But the system has cracks.

And my situation fell through the cracks, as do most.

While the big bosses are sitting in their vacation homes

Some little girl in India searches through a computer screen hoping to analyze the situation with a computer that doesn't give her enough info to come close to understanding the real problem.

And she's stressed to all hell needing to meet the standard so she can bring home her $7 at the end of the shift so her family can eat.

So she reads her script one more time.

"Dear sir, thank you for your patience and i apologize once again for the wait. Please know that Amazon.com and Visa truly value your service. Credit card purchaes are awarded one point for purchases at any retailer, and 2 points at some gas stations and supermarkets, and 3 points with amazon.com puchases. Blah blah blah"

.... you don't understand my question because you are frantically reading a black and green 9 inch computer monitor in a whole in the wall cubicle in India

while the people that should have handled this problem properly are sitting in vacation homes and having fun.

I get frustrated that I can't speak to anyone who understands English

In attempts to save money, time, and attempts to create jobs for uneducated people, businesses systemize processes.

But the system fails often. Any time you have any type of small concern, the system can't handle it.

The low level employees have no idea.

An American worker could handle that problem somewhat easily.

Problem solved in 10-15 minutes.

Because they want to save money, they move everything to India and pay people nothing.

We bounce around for an hour on the lines, then get cut off.

Then frustrated.

Then say fuck it, i don't even want my free flight anymore.

or my damn amazon gift certificates

..............................Capitalism Sucks..........................

The only way people benefit from capitalism is by exploiting someone or something

It's the system we live in.

So you gotta cope.

My boy Steve Reggie is obsessed with books.

He talks about some top 100 list of books as published by the american public library or something.

The library staff, probably old white men with beards, selected their 100 best books to date.

Then the users of the site selected a list.

They were both up to view on the website.

Steve Register said if he was going to read a book from then on, it would come from that list.

Dude is intense.

But then he closely compared the librarian staff list to the public's list.

The public's list had good heart felt stories with happy endings at the top.

The library staff had all sad tragedy endings in their top list.

Reggie said that was a perfect display in the difference between perception and reality.

IN other words, we all want to feel good and pretend everything is good and great.

But in reality, that's not reality, not even close.

And most stories in the world are tragedies.

And will continue to be.

If we continue to put emphasis on money and personal gain

Over love for our brothers and sisters.
